As of now, im sure only radio geeks know this station actually exsist as of now.  Give them time, hopefully they'll do the right thing.  Anyone know if they made mention of a new hip-hop choice on sister station 106.7?

Former B-97 jock. TV/film production & voiceovers

Yep.  Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" was poor quality.  It sounded as if it was ripped from the internet at a low bitrate.  Of course, that's just one song tho.  They still have opportunity tho, give them some time!

My guess is that it's going to be a pretty good competition to Q-93!

Before the switch, Papa Smurf made a few mentions to the effect of something is happening at 102.9 at 10:29 and encouraged listeners to check it out.

Voice Guy sounds like Rick Party. Eric Edwards or Mitch Craig should have been used.

It may just have been my car radio, but it sounds like their audio quality is not up to par - could the transmitter still be set for processing that was favorable for Old School?

And if all this is going to be is a syndicated show in the morning and a jukebox the rest of the day, sorry, that's not going to beat Q.

And their voice guy sounds familiar - is he the same one from Max 94.1 out of Baton Rouge?

Definately not just you or your car radio. The processing definitely needs some adjustments. Faster release time and less gating. Quiet parts of songs barely pass thru! Roll Eyes Man, Citidel loves those high gate adjustments on all their stations. What's the point of extreme gating??

It looks like Mediabase has added it to the Rhythmic panel...

mp3 audio on processing for wav? LeBron isn't stupid, but when you transfer files outside of hard drive to hard drive, most of the time the files end up mp3 by default. Could be just a simple oversight that will cost them time and money. New York will LOVE that!!
