I find that Montreal is the most boring radio market in the city. There isn't much variety in terms of frequency and format, compare to Paris France.  Is there any other choices besides Rock Delente, Rhythme FM, Energie FM, CKOI 96.9, Parle 98,5, CHOM 97.7, Q92.5, Classique 99,5, & CBC/Radio-Canada stations?

It depends on what you're lo0king for, as far as actual variety, try the campus/community stations like CKUT (90.3 FM) or CJLO 1690 AM as both feature genres of music not found on the commercial stations, anything from Jazz, to Carribean vibes, to underground rap, Metal, Punk, Experimental, Electronic and spoken word programming are featured regularly on both stations.  CJWI 1610 AM is interesting for a taste of Haitian/Carribean culture and they have an hour of Spanish language programming every weekday afterno0n.  The Montreal radio dial does not begin and end with commercial FM, try some of the University stations or the AM dial.  Montreal has more stations playing music on AM than many other cities, with 940, 1280, 1450, 1570, 1610 and 1690 being fulltime music stations.  1280 and 1450 do not programme to the english or french communities, so you get a flavour for international music.

Are you refering to the english or french choices there?

There's also 94.7 Yes FM...it's not in Montreal, but it's still a valid listening choice. (for english language hit music)
Also, it's American, so there is no worry about can con.
