RTN/Retro Television Network has apparently ended their deal (or it has expired) with CBS/Paramount, as all of their shows are gone (Wild Wild West, Get Smart, Hogan's Heroes, Gomer Pyle, My Three Sons, etc).  They are now relying exclusively on the Universal and FOX deals, so many of the good shows are gone.  All of the schedules have been made over and contain these shows: http://www.rtnville.com//shows.html

Many of the affils claim to be airing Bachelor Father but in every market Leave it to Beaver is airing instead.  They're really airing Beaver a lot suddenly..3-4 times a day in some markets.  McHale's Navy is also airing a good bit, which is nice.  Hopefully they'll get some more shows sometime soon.  To see a list of all of the affiliates schedules you can go here: http://www.rtnville.com//programming.html

Have you noticed any changes in your affiliates' schedule?

Get Smart and Hogan's Heroes were the only reason why I was watching RTN.

Another good channel gone! This one wasn't around very long.

ME-TV moved "Hogan's Heroes" to a better slot at 3pm on ME-TV instead of ME-Too (the other low power station). "Get Smart" on ME-TV was moved to a better Saturday slot too. ME-TV also started running "McHale's Navy" and moved "Gomer Pyle USMC" to a daily slot, so if stations want those shows they are available.

I also noted that the RTN deal with Universal is apparently non-exclusive, as was the CBS deal -- one of the Universal shows on RTN's website, "Alfred Hitchcock Presents", was recently picked up for airing here in Dallas-Fort Worth by KFWD/52 (it runs at 10 PM on weeknights, and is followed by CBS's "The Twilight Zone").  That's a local station that airs a lot of classic shows, but isn't an RTN outlet.  And, yes, "Hogan's Heroes" is available as well -- it also runs on KFWD, weekdays at 6 PM.

For a look at what CBS has available, go to <http://www.paramounttv.com/> and click on the icon for "Series" on the left.  It's filled with information about what programs CBS Television Distribution has available, formats, number of episodes, etc.  Here's where you can find out if "edited for syndication" versions exist of a particular program, or whether or not a particular show has been remastered into high definition ("Hogan's Heroes" has been, "Get Smart" has not).

Oh, and if anyone knows of similar websites for NBC Universal, Fox Television, or Warner Domestic Television Distribution -- please, please, provide the URLs here.

I understand from those in the know on the Atlanta TV board that WSB-DT2 was using an interim schedule last week, but it was not posted. Their new schedule (beginning next week) has been posted.

Most of these deals (even for newer series) are nonexclusive nowadays. Most of these companies can pull in more revenue these days this way (especially for popular classic series).

Here in the Seattle-Tacoma area RTN Northwest changed it's schedule about a couple of weeks ago, unfortunetly this sucks because my family and I really liked watching Get Smart, Hogan's Heroes and especially the Wild Wild West which one of my parents favorite shows. What really stinks though is their airings of Leave it to Beaver 3-4 times a day. But luckily there are still some good shows on the channel like Magnum PI and Simon and Simon (both are some of my mother's favorite shows).
