I'm confused which isn't that unusual.  105.3 DBT (Radio People) is running a promo that Ms. Elizabeth did asking everyone to join she and Big Mike and Amiee and KC there for their new temporary home, "The Bull".  Then there is 100.5 LDA (Magic) which switched over the weekend (bovine stunting sounds, not stunted bovine sounds) from oldies to country and is self promoting as "The Bull".  Seems like I remember one of them talking about the "Big Bull".  So 955 TVY folks left to go to the Radio People (who own the "Big Dog Country 96.9) and start the Bull on 93.7 which is being purchased from Mizzell but until some future date when it is ready they are going to be on 105.3 DBT.  955 TVY (country) lost all but one staffer, put Rick and Bubba on in the morning and are filling in with other staffers AND switched 100.5 from oldies to country to match the cross town competitor country station for country station.  I feel like I'm standing in the cow pen knee deep in bull cr** looking under them all to find the Bull, the Big Bull and the Temporary Bull (is that maybe a cross dressing cow?).

Dothan  definitely has its share of Bully Pulpits, or Pits of Bully Pul.  Am I even close to getting this straight?

Sad thing is if you are confused (and I assume you live in Dothan) and you know the radio biz, can you imagine what this does to the listener...TheRadioPeeps will win this one.  They have top of mind with DJR, Tragic blew it with TVY, any listener who hears Rick & Bubba will think they scanned on the wrong station.  What advertiser would want to buy that? (Unless it is super cheap) the brand is gone.  No matter what these corporate types think, the product is what comes out of the speakers.  Especially with country, people want local, local, local...time to play the Tragic theme song

Tragedy
When the feeling's gone and you can't go on
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one to love you you're
goin' nowhere
Tragedy
When you lose control and you got no soul
It's tragedy
When the morning cries and you don't know why
It's hard to bear
With no-one beside you you're
goin' nowhere

The Gibbs brothers?

You'd better copyright your name attackpoodle before a station in Dothan starts using it.  There's Woof, The Big Dog, The Bull. The Big Bull; someone may again try and attack woof and use your screen name.

Can't stand it, gotta share promos that popped in my head, freebies for the bull that rides 'em first:

"We leave the electric prods and A.I. (sfx of a distressed bull) to the pretenders we're the natural Bull W---."

or

"The only thing sweeter than country music is a cow doing her business on a flat rock, we're the natural Bull W---."

or

"We've been greening the world before it was cool, we're the natural Bull W----."

Actually I think the whole thing is typical "Tragic"  They hear what The "Old TVY Crew" is going to do and they run copy.  I know this is business but how sad when you can not come up with an idea of your own.  If I was Amie, KC, Big Mike and Elizabeth I would let all the listeners know exactly what MB did to all of them that made them leave.  Pretty bad when your number 1 rated country radio show co-host has major surgery and is out of week for 12 weeks and your company won't help in any way.  That's just the tip of the iceburg.  Bottom line is MB has to be petty and play games as usual.  If they had any commom sense at all they would spend this time trying to turn KMX around.

I bet WOOF is loving this...with all these new country stations, they should end up being the new "Big Dog".
