You're completely ignoring a very important point. You say Cubby is not a pedophile. You know that for certain, do you?
Just about as well as I know that he, in fact, is. See my point?
Well then I suggest you call the police with any legitimate information you may have.

You just don't get it. It's rather transparently obvious you're quite a fan of the show. Enjoy it while you can.

Never heard the show. Never heard of Cubby.

I can't resist pointing out the fact that Mr. Rose is positive that Cubby is, in fact, a perfectly normal, harmless, fun loving individual - which he of course may well be - even though he's never heard of him? Interesting.

To Eggman and other oldies fans...Magic 96 changed formats over 4 years ago...I repeat...OVER FOUR YEARS AGO. They are GONE! They are NOT COMING BACK. GET OVER IT!!!!
If you love music of the 60's and 70's so much, 106.1 and 94.1 are within earshot of the QC playing similar formats. In addition, a whole string of AC and classic rock stations tend to play the same songs as well. You have countless choices for your dinosaur pop. Eggman, you gotten a few jobs since, right?
For the record, I really can't stand Brotha Fred and the gang either. That said, I blame the bus driver the the parents who were at the stop more than anyone else to keep this from happening in the first place. It all of them were doing their jobs, Cubby would never have set foot on that bus in the first place.
Let's move on. There have been radio pranks that have gone far worse than anything that happened Monday morning. The silver lining here is that CMS got caught with their pants down in this lapse.

On one hand I can agree. There have been worse pranks...BUT... When you do anything that remotely messes with kids, it's trouble. That's why NC gives you 5 points for passing a stopped school bus. I'm glad I never did a prank that caused someone to lose their job. I have moved on, beyond AM beyond FM to XM. They don't seem to care how old I am as long as I pay the bill!

Hang on, I'm gonna have to go waaaay out in left field to respond to Danimal's remark.
Please let me know if I, in any of my posts on this or any other thread, have indicated the slightest wish to return to the CC fold. I have, as you say, "gotten over it," and am quite happy to have done so. Once I removed the knives from my back, that is.
That said, we're not talking about wishing for a return to the old days. We're talking about a stupid stunt that was not only uninteresting to the listener, it was ill-conceived, irresponsible, and could have - note I said could have - had horrific consequences. I understand from Mark Washburn that all anyone got was a slap on the wrist. Heaven forbid we disrupt the cash cow - not that The Beat has ever been much of one.
Please don't try to hijack the thread by making wild accusations, fair enough?

Nobody hurt, nobody endangered, no kids even scared, glaring security deficiency revealed. May or may not have been entertaining to the listener. I don't get the hubbub...bub.
Stupid stunts are what teen targeted radio is all about.

I have serious doubts that the radio crew had any idea of exposing a security threat - and stumbled onto one.
What would the reaction be if 1) it wasn't a CC station, and 2) it was done by a news crew instead of a radio morning show?
CMS should take a very close look at their procedures. You parents of nine year olds should be concerned about the breech of security. It appears it is pretty easy for someone to board a bus - could have been a person with a gun and there could be 30 or 40 bodies to pick up instead of a lame radio stunt!!
