The yawn is for Frog, he's more than likely very tired (mentally and physically) at this point trying to get wusd up to snuff in a certain persons mind.  They were off most of Sunday, back on Monday but still a very week signal today.  Don't know but if I were to guess he was probably "asked" (instructed) to "turn up the transmitter" which if done more than likely burned out some tubes in the poor old thing.  Good luck Frog.

Also, seems that 103.9 is pretty close to straight up classic rock, playing Zep and a few others.  Nice guy, Kevin Miles is back doing afternoons.

Come on people, it is the job of mkt 192 to entertain the rest of the radio-info world.  We're falling down on the job.  Or, like Frog, maybe we're all just worn out from the drama.....I mean work.

Please get on with it!... I agree! I need a laugh!.... I've been in radio a long time but I do believe I'd be afraid to even catch a weekend shift in Dothan... You folks are something! I keep waiting for a gang fight to break out between stations! Grin

Sorry Skipper but most of the hyperbole on these boards come from people who don't actually work with any of the radio stations. Most of us actually have at least some level of respect for our peers and competitors and enjoy a robust professional competitive spirit.

We all want to win. All the other garbage on this board doesn't typically come from actual employees at these stations.

I will agree, the board is entertaining though...in a 5 year old 'my dad is better than your dad' kind of way.

Brett,

As usual you've hit the nail on the head!  I believe that alot of problems are started by people that are currently out of radio.  I have no idea of how bad a deal they may have recieved from some management...

But I've had the pleasure to work and play with some of the folks at RP, and intend to do it again in a few weeks at the Nut Fest...

I did want to make everyone aware that who ever "Chiro955" may be it is not "Wendy", she hasn't posted here and asures me if she does it will be with her own name and not an alias...

Peace to all!

No, "Chiroprator 955" is not Windy. It's Bill Bailey.

Did someone mention the Peanut Festival is happening soon? One of the first dates I had with my wife was at the Peanut Festival. I took her with me, as I was asked to introduce the band Adelayda (I think). That had to be about six years ago, as my wife and I celebrate our one year anniversary in two weeks.

Sorry I'm very close to Bill Bailey he denied being "chiropractor955"... He also said it was his IMPRESSION that "chiropractor955" was really ELVIS!

But someone said; "Elvis has left the building"
