Looks like WMMS and Rover have finally put the final nail in the K-Rock coffin.

The below was emailed to me earlier today.

It's not exactly alternative; not exactly Triple A. Maybe this is their alternative version of Jack?

slogan:  "It's about the music....specifically your music"

This is the format they're running (and still running) on their HD channel.

Personally I think a true AAA like WAPS would do well in Cleveland. Not win, but be a spoiler siphoning shares from others. 25-54 winner all the way.

Even Dial Global's AAA format, run on WLKR/Norwalk, would do well.

Think. Discuss.

Don't forget the excellent CIDR/93.9 out of Windsor, Chuck!

Its not a bad station, of course its never built to overrun MMS or NCX and there is a reason behind that.  If they can pull a 25-44 share away from TAM and another from MMS, viola you have 2 new shares for KRK.  Its really simple!

Well, given that CBS Radio is (for now, thanks to the credit crisis and collapse of the broadcasting industry) stuck with the Cleveland cluster... don't expect a damn thing from the station. It probably will be run from a small computer at a corner of the WNCX studio, for that matter.

It's all about WDOK, WNCX and Q104... 92.3 is and always will be the unwanted red-headed stepchild in the cluster.
