Over the years I have collected thousands of bizarre, difficult trivia questions.  I thought I would begin to post them here.  I am on this site several times a day and will try to acknowlege correct answers ASAP, and then post the new Impossible Triva Question.  If any one trivia question goes too long, I will start to post clues.  If anyone has ideas about how to make this new game more fun or has input about the format, chime in.

Impossible Trivia Question #1
When the Empire State Building was orginally built, there was a structure included in the design that still exists near the top of the building that has a specific purpose, but it has never been used.  What is it?

HAVE FUN!

LowPayDJ...  You are correct. "They hadn't thought about the winds and never got around to figuring out a ramp mechanism to unload people from the derrigible's."

Impossible Trivia Question #2

Why did the father of our country, the 1st President of the United States of America look so stately and never smiled in the paintings and images that are available of him?

Have fun!

No he didn't.  The wooden teeth myth is pretty popular though.  He had Ivory teeth when he used them.

because portaits were painted and took several sittings that may have been hours long. Smiling would not be practical and would have been considered un- gentlemanly

We are on the right track, but don't have a complete answer.  Again, why did he keep his mouth shut for portraits?
