I just noticed this yesterday.  As of now, it's just a radar map with no audio.
13.2 appears to have settled in to a radar map (with NBC13 theme music) and pre-recorded weather segments from the main channel.

Such a waste.

Who watches that stuff?

Personally, I'd like to have access to those channels. I think I would highly consider dropping cable if I could get my local weather anytime from a local channel, instead of having to sit through all of these stupid shows on The Weather Channel.

Does anyone in the Anniston/Oxford area use a DTV antenna, and if so, how is your reception? I am considering buying one, but before I do I'd like to know how others are faring in this area.

I think 42 has had the radar map for a while. I remember seeing it in the summer last year while in town.

IIRC, 42.2 has always rebroadcast the main WIAT programming in SD, except for a few hours of E/I programming on Saturday morning.

I'd like it because I wouldn't have to punch up Accuweather.com or Weather.com, or wait for 'Weather on the 8's' on The Weather Channel.
