XM Channel 68 the Heat and SIRIUS Channel 50 The Heat is a terrible Rhythemic CHR (Urban Contemporary) station, and it's pretty funny that one of my hometown DETROIT radio stations named Hot 102.7 is better than the satellite radio station with the same format on my satellite radio. Hip-Hop Nation is a very good channel at SIRIUS Channel 40 and XM Channel 67.

I subscribe to satellite radio mainly to hear CHR radio/Top 40 radio because Detroit dont have a good CHR/Top 40 station. Channel 955 is a terrible CHR station, so I listen to satellite radio CHR stations like XM 20 on 20, Pop 2k on XM Channel 30, XM Kiss 21, and SIRIUS Hits 1 on SIRIUS.

I hope Hot 102.7 gets better ratings so they dont get changed to a another format. Hot 102.7 in Detroit has to be good cause their music playlist is better than the only satellite radio station in America named The Heat with the same format.

I have heard someone say that a lot of people in my area in western Wayne County in Inkster listen to Hot 102.7.

Hot 102.7 will probably make it, they just got to get the word out there for people to find their station like putting up billboards around metro Detroit.
