Hopefully Richard will be permitted to do his job now. He and his predecessors have been cut off at the knees at every turn. With actual authority along with the title, he should do fine. Hopefully Durden and his guys will give him a chance.

"...Hopefully Durden and his guys will give him a chance."  Wake up and smell the coffee, pal.  Durden and his guys aren't giving anyone any authority.  It's gonna be real short leashes on warm bodies and that's gonna be it.  No one will be "managing."  They might be given the title, but all they'll be is truant officers making sure that the staff arrives on time and is thoroughly flogged should they not appear cowed. (That is, if anyone is left.  See NW Florida post: "How many people does it take to run 4 stations?")

12+ don't even come close to the story though.  The straight fall numbers......whoa.  For that reason I here and now bow in recognition of the classy people at WOOF.  Not one has gloated.
