BossRadioDJ is holding out on his radio-info family....look what he has apparently "shared" with the San Francisco Peninsula Press Club...apparently CC is about to sell KUFX in San Jose.  Could that be why the flip on 103.7 to Classic Rock?  Will they move Greg Kihn to the City?

KUFX aka K-FOX started at 94.5 then moved to 104.9 then to its current spot at 98.5. I am surprised that CC didn't move the KUFX call and K-FOX moniker to 103.7 instead of calling it "The Band"?

agreed -- but that would've, y'know, made sense.

I'll be shocked if they don't move Greg Kihn to "The Band"; he has a following and he's garnered a rep as being right-of-center politically, so all those Fogheads who complain that KFOG's Morning Show is "too lefty" (but who aren't fans of Lamont & Tonelli-style potty humor) will have someplace to go.

THE Spanish format?  Does this mean you think that there is just one "Spanish format"?  Spanish language formats go all across the board from pop to country to romantic music to various flavors of talk.  There should be plenty of room for all kinds of "Spanish formats," no?

Personally, I hope they go with a Catalan format, although Andalusian has great appeal, as Spanish formats go.
