I knew I should've taken a picture of the beer cans I glued to the ceiling of my dorm room all those years ago.

Apologize for America? I don't think so.

Here's hoping that you find many fellow collectors.  I am constantly fascinated by the various items that people collect.  I always crushed my pop cans and took them to the aluminum recycling place - along with TheRob's beer cans.  I guess you could call that collecting.  Cheesy  There is surely no end to the many hobbies of men and women under the sun.  Very groovy.

I have an unopened can of “Jolt” Soda which was on the market circa 1985.  Somehow, maybe due to the high caffeine content, the can developed a leak.  The can is now empty, but still unopened.

Jolt Cola was originally made by The Jolt Cola Company of Rochester, New York, which has since changed its name to Wet Planet Beverages.  From the outset, Jolt's marketing strategy centered on the caffeine content, billing the drink as a means to promote wakefulness.  The initial slogan was "All the sugar and twice the caffeine."

I still have a Coke can from the 15th aniversary of Disney, circa 1987 w/ Pluto's picture on it.  You can find one on that website.  It is still un-opened but has not leaked yet, unlike my RC can from sometime back...then...ish..(*shrug*)   Its still in the fridge, maybe that helps?  I remember buying a 6pack of Coke that had ONE of the Redskins Super bowl wins dipicted on it or somethin.  Those I think all leaked out.  Not sure if I still kept the cans though.   SOmeday I'll go thru my mothers house an who knows what gems I'll find.  I remember finding a can of "Crisco" from the 1950s @granma's.

In the late '80s, there was a brand called Razcal, a blue raspberry/lime flavored and highly caffeinated soda...

It's motto: "Nobody Famous Drinks It" It was made by RC.....

Here in Canada, RC cola is made by Cott Beverages inc.

I used to love the ads for "Kick" which competed with Mountain Dew.
They even had ads on public transit that read "Your little sister drinks Mountain dew"

Well now, Mountain dew is still around and Kick is long gone!
Too bad too because it had a nice taste to it.
