The transmitter listed on e-bay has been listed for months, it started out with a starting bid of $350 but as you can see the price has come down a bit. It is a well made transmitter, certainly better than the Ramsey 100b selling for $440+. You could buy a pretty nice mixer for the difference. 3+ miles can be expected with a good dipole.
