WFAS does play OK music, from the time I spent listening to that station. They're now playing music that LITE FM used to play in the not-so-old days. If they do "become" a NYC station, could their current format have a chance? I would think that from their playing AC music that people used to remember from LITE FM, they might get a solid niche audience.

WFAS could blow Lite Fm out of the water...if they get JJ Kennedy to come back...JJ as we all know was "let go" from Lite Fm for Dalilah...she then hit the airwaves at WFAS for a little bit.  I think alot of loyal followers of JJ will drop Lite FM for WFAS.  The station is sounding great now with Mary back and Jay...Bob Barnum....  Roll Eyes

Dave Ashton had his gig about 5 hours after he was let go.  He is doing well and loving life without the anvil swinging over his head.

The only surprise about Mary being back in the afternoons is that it took the stuffed suits 2 months to make it happen.  For the rest of the world, this was a no-brainer.  She is sounding great and her following is pleased as well.

WFAS will be better than fine.  They will be fine faster if the stuffed suits would just let the folks do their jobs.
