JJ & Lynne Return.....For A Week

JJ & Lynne formally of WCSX will be filling in for the Dick Purtan show next week. Now knowing CBS radio, why would they have a very well known morning crew fill in for a week for no reason at all, Couldn't they just play best of, or just have a weekender fill-in. I don't know it just sounds funny to me. Is CBS and WOMC planning something? This is not the first time they tried to get JJ and Lynne aboard there staff. They had an opening for a new co-host on Purtan's show and both were asked, but they turned it down because they didn't want to compete against each other for the job. And if you look at Purtan's ratings, he is not even in the top ten anymore (no clue where he actualy stands in the books). Do you think CBS is doing some what of a test run with these two, and Purtan's days at OMC are limited.
