When I started in radio in 1967, most broadcast equipment used tube technology, all recorded music was played from records on a turntable by live DJ's, there was no satellite delivery...and radio was fun.

Dina Carrol-So Close(1993, Barely cracked the Hot 100-Played in the Spring of 93 on Z-93).
Tasmin Archer-Sleeping Satelitte(1993, Barely cracked the Top 40-Played for a bit on Z-93).
Green Jelly-Three Little Pigs(1993, Played on Z Spring of '93).
Floetry-Floetic(2002, Played on Hot 102.9 briefly until their more successful "Say Yes" hit the airwaves).
Chesney Hawkes-The One and Only(1991, played over the opening credits of the Michael J. Fox movie "Doc Hollywood", played briefly on WDJK DJ 95 in 1991).
John Mellencamp-Again Tonight(1991, DJ 95).
Nenah Cherry-Buddy X(1993, played briefly on Z).
The Storm-I've Got A Lot To Learn About Love(1992, played briefly on Z, DJ 95 and I think The Big WAZU, band consisted of ex-Journey members...and I was lucky to find a copy of this CD on eBay earlier this year).
DF Dub-Country Girl(2003, only played in the evening on Z-93 due to, as told to me by the PD at the time, "Because it is offensive to women", which I guess it is, but I still like it). 
Madison Avenue-Don't Call Me Baby(2000, 94.5 Kiss-FM).
Alice Deejay-Better Off Alone(2000, 94.5 Kiss-FM).
