Bits and pieces again, just the info I have learned.  As per website rules here, no actual numbers posted, just rankings from the MAR-APR-MAY 2009 rolling trend for Tampa/St. Pete/Clearwater.

If these trends prove true, hold on! Bubba's Lovin' Sponge spoonfuls' are a Tampa Bay ratings juggernaut and evidence of the coming national radio domination in full-blown syndication that would rival only Rush Limbaugh!

The Spongey Guy appears to soak up every demographic and absorb every daypart with his uproarious hilarity and cutting societal witticism's. Who knew dressing a guy in a firecracker suit and detonating him before going on 4th of July vacation would attract a listenership beyond drooling mind numbed morons, but alas.

Why bother with a new U.S. census when Bubba's audience reveals where America stands during this glimpse in Joe-Six-pack history. Land of the free, home of the brave, and country dumb. Lucky U.S.

Like him or not, Bubba does very well in Tampa.

The more interesting thing to me is that Steve Harvey being piped in off the bird and airing on WBTP beat MJ on WFLZ P18-34 and P25-54 in this rolling trend.  Harvey vs. Orlando in the P18-34 demo is also a very interesting and close matchup.

And yet a mere 90 miles away in Orlando he hasn't even moved the meter on WHTQ... in fact that station has lost nearly 1/3 of its total audience since last summer.

Re: WHTQ...they had John Boy and Billy mornings at one time, didn't they? How were the numbers then?

Better. The station's ratings are now just about as low as they have ever been.
