7 out of the first 11 Tracks are Recurrents or Golds not a very good start
Radio now is at 4 out of 10 tracks Gold or recurrents since the Debut of I94
WZPL has 3 Recurrents/Golds out of 7 Songs since 9:40 am

Actually sounds a lot like what I have been programming on Pendleton Heights HS radio, 91.7 WEEM. We are quite a bit more rock leaning though, with a lot less recurrents and golds. "Caught Up" by Usher...come on now. Is this the imaging package, or will they add more energy? So I saw that this is very similar to Now in NYC, is that a Cumulus too? Is it just a satellite station?

Now in NYC is a CBS O&O station. but come on trying to topple the Semi Heritage CHR in Radio Now isnt gonna work when you play 3 recurrents in a row between currents. heck as the Hot AC/Adult CHR. WZPL has done almost as good at being a CHR like they were back in the 80's and 90's trying to compete with Radio Now.

My assumption for i94 is the "i" will mean they will be very interactive? or will it mean they will sound more "i"tunes like with more golds?

If it is programmed like most Cumulus CHR's it will be very CHR safe with a lot of recurrents. So far it sounds a lot like our Cumulus CHR here in Rockford IL WZOK... CC1

Maybe? I thought "I" stood for "Indianapolis"

After listening for awhile, I think they are going safe, like CC1 says. More ZPL, not NOU. I guess the I may mean Indy or Indianapolis...I can't believe that actually slipped my mind.
It's a good choice though if they can get new music faster than ZPL because they are usually slow on adds.

Has anyone heard if there are new call letters? The ID's aren't playing on the stream (there is dead air during what might be the ID)

If Cumulus wants to beat Radio One at the CHR Wars. especially on a weekend when Radio Now will be playing for them more Gold than Normal along with their usual dose of Recurrents along with all the Currents they play. Cumulus wouldve been better off to Start the first Weekend off with a Heavy Dose of More Currants than Recurrents and golds im my Opinon
