Forget about how quirky he was. Not looking for personal attacks on his character. Just wondering if anyone here is going to the Staples Center for his memorial? How many others plan to just watch from the comfort of their home like I do? I think I'll load up the playlist on my computer and listen to lots of Jackson tomorrow as my own way to pay tribute.

I am a bit concerned about fans just totally losing it. Possible riots as well. People get crazy when emotional things happen. Several people have already commited suicide over his death. I personally don't want to be anywhere near downtown LA tomorrow for fear of the nuts and wackos. Hopefully it will be a peceful tribute.

So are you doing anything special tomorrow as a way to pay tribute in your own way? Just curious.

Just waxed my car..

Jackson was the most promoted-protected- accepted deviant the 20 th century ever saw.

His talent was great.. His preversions were much greater.

Skynet, love you man, but Jackson makes my skin crawl. Same status as Ru Paul to me..

Apparently, from what I hear, Rhode Island residents could not enter the lottery, because it wasn't sanctioned by the RI Lottery Commision, so no RIers will be there unless someone is desperate enough to pay $100,000 for seats.

I'm dressing as Liz Taylor & will show up & throw a tantrum if they won't let me in. Does anyone have a fat suit they can lend me?

Michael Jackson. How has his death effected you?

It's annoyed the heck out of me.  You can hardly turn on the TV without see something relating to Michael Jackson's death.  Man, he was only a freakin' singer for crying out loud!  The guy was not a scientist, not an activist, not a world leader or even a great humanitarian (I'm being kind by pointing out only what he wasn't as opposed to what he WAS).  If you loved his music, good for you.  You can still listen to it as much as you want (but please use headphones so I don't have to hear it).  And reportedly there is a lot of unreleased material that his fans can look forward to for years to come so stop your crying already.

I hope the events of tomorrow will bring some closure to this story so when can move on.  However, I'm fairly certain this bizarre soap opera will not be going away completely anytime soon.

It hasn't effected me at all, never cared for his music, I agree with dmargalotti there way to much news coverage for him I completly stopped watching CNN,HLN, and all the other cable news channels til the dust clears, Why should that pedophile get that much coverage.

Hasn't affected me in the least. His music sounds the same as always, and he still never calls.
