Clear Channel re-aligns some market reporting again…
T-R-I hears that some New York state markets such as Syracuse, Albany and Rochester now report directly to George Toulas, at what Clear Channel calls the “Mid-Major” level. They’d previously reported to Tom Thon, who himself reports to Toulas. I heard just about those three markets, but you wonder if that’s happening in other places, and whether San Antonio may eventually eliminate a layer of middle management as a cost-saving measure. Or, whether it may consolidate some of the middle-management jobs and require more traveling by the rest – again, saving money.

Even on a local level, WRWD has eliminated Dawn Spicer as morning drive co-host. Many more cuts that we don't even see...

talk about CC cutting things for about 2 months now 98.3 WTRY has been running with no HD signal at all & no RDS feed either. It would be really nice if they fix this already.

Did anyone associated with the CC massacres of earlier this year ever resurface anywhere?

I remember Dawn Spicer when she was doing mornings back in the 90's when she was on WBWZ when it was formerly "Z93" back in the day. She was on WBPM's former "Rhythm 94.3" and "Cool 94.3" when she was filling in for Ricky Woods doing the news in the morning right before Cumulus took over from CC. She was also on WRWD with Tommy Lee Walker, I'm so sad to see Dawn go, but good luck to her in Buffalo. I hope Ricky Woods will be Dawn's replacement.

Let the CC Joker cutbacks begin!
