Looks like Al Roney is about to save the increasingly irrelevant WGY from the ash heap.  He is the ONLY one doing anything of meaning and not just on radio, but TV and print.  Roney has been relentless of late and his revelation about Commissioner Daines possible conflict of interest on the mandatory flu vaccines as a result of his wife working for Goldman Sachs who has brokered Billions of Dollars for Vaccine makers is award winning material.  This one of a kind coverage is being ignored by the media powers that be, you know the one’s - those who decide the meaningless NYS broadcaster awards or Marconi fluff but they never consider issues that go right to the Constitution. Roney has done more for the average person in just the last six months than ANYONE in Media in Albany or New York State, in the last 50 years.  This guy has made a fool of his own news dept who won’t even follow up and report on his research.  Scared-ie Cats have no place in the Fourth Estate.  All you clowns posting meaningless garbage as to whether Chad looks good in a Bikini or Don should be made Governor of the Virgin Islands because he sat in the same chair for 80 years…get real.  Radio is irrelevant because it doesn’t address the concerns of the customer, just like TV and Newspapers.  Roney’s doing that and is being quoted on Blogs all over the world.  Real is what our customers want and Roney is the ONLY one delivering.  Next time you’re about to post some idiotic observation you might think about the role the media used to play in defense of the Constitution.  Honorable mention to Ali Skinner who had the moxie to ask Daines “The” question; shame on the rest of you so called news people who just repeat what is told you at a press conference.  Journalism is more than just a paycheck and if it isn’t you ought to quit.

CC in Poughkeepsie just fired their Market Manager too---I think it was yesterday. Looks like they are cleaning house over there, which couldnt hurt since no one over there knows what they're doing or how radio works. Its the blind leading the blind over there in Poughkeepsie, and corporate is so out of touch to not smell the smoke thats being blown up their arse. It will be interesting to see who will be brought in to clean up the mess thats left come January.

I understand that more cuts are likely...mid-November to mid-December appears to be the time period during which this will occur...
