Yes Fly 104.9 is back guys! I've taken up the responsibility of being the Program Director again. Back in 2006 when I decided to step down from PD for the station, it seems like the station just downfell from there. But now that I'm programming it again, it sounds better than ever! We're in the process of building a brand new website and it should be up sometime next week. But for now go tune in and let me know what you think! http://www.fly1049.com

Any feedback is always great to hear and improves the sound of the station!

Thanks,
 Dakota Mendenhall

Haha. I'm basically the only staff there is right now. I'm doing everything, literally. Programming, Imaging, Production, Music Director, Promotion. Only thing I didn't do was the new website, in which I'm putting content in and it should be released the start of September! We're looking for on air voicetrackers, webmasters, graphic designers, sales reps, funding partners, and anything else that's worth mentioning. If you would like to help out email me at dakota@fly1049.com

Thanks,

Every station I love eventually changes formats.

I was a one man operation from 2001 til 2006 and then DJs that used to work at the FM station I pay tribute to started helping me out.  I still do a majority of the programming, but the DJs help out with imaging and hosting weekly shows.  Gotta love them, with out them, the station would sound just like everybodys iPod.

Well I've stopped programming it since then because I got a new position at Hot 97 Beats as the PD there.
