This is a clip of the Maxwell Show on WMMS here in Cleveland. In it Maxwell (Benjamin Bornstein) talks about an appearance on the Kirk and Mark show and how he said something he does not wish to disclose now. I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on the topic. The relevant part of the audio starts at 10:37.  NOTE: You will have to copy and paste the link for it to work in the browser.

I remember this. I doubt there's any way in hell that anyone will find out in Cleveland on his show. You might be better off asking Kirk and Mark (who are on a non-compete from CBS Radio following a station format flip from hot talk to sports months ago... seems to be a common occurrence over there.)

Sometimes stuff is best left unsaid. Maxwell has more than aired his many demons following his rehab stint. If he doesn't want to say what this is for fear of his career and livelihood, then it shouldn't be discussed. But it appears that he has dealt with and tried to reconcile it privately for many years.

Is this the same Maxwell who started out in Ft. Wayne 20-some years ago?

I wouldn't know. But he is a native of the Cincinnati area, and he worked at both WOXY-FM and WEBN down there a long time ago.

Personally, I don't care for the show.

With that said, Maxwell's ratings say that the target demos love him. I'm in the target...25-54 Men...but it ain't my thing.  I prefer Slats when he was on 'MMS.

I don't really think the target demo loves him. They're just grandfathered in via Rover's ratings. I actually believe he's trying to target a different audience as of late. Maybe preparing for the big move? We'll see in a couple months.
