WRCH 100.5 was off the air until almost 5:30AM this morning. This included their stream. Based on the play-list on YES.COM, they went off the air right after Delilah ended at 5AM, which is when I noticed they were off the air. The first song listed for the 5AM is listed as starting to play at 5:22AM, but they were still off then, so I assume they came on mid-song.

Maybe they've started running infomercials? Are you certain you heard dead air?

Was it dead air or static? Was there static on the stream too?
Maybe they needed to do some transmitter work last night.

It was static. Not dead air. And there was silence on their stream.

there was an issue with a resync command combined with the problem of having the jock come in later than she usually does.  there is a live person in at 5am weekdays to make sure that delilah and the normal wrch programming have a smooth change over.  because of the holiday, the the morning show started at 6am.  the automation log did not reflect this.  hence 20 minutes of dead air
