gotta say I was miffed when Petros and Money replaced Andew Siciliano and Crystal Fernandez,  Andrew is way smooth,  but Petros and Money is growing on me,  better than anything we have on sports talk here in Birmingham Alabama

I read the message board and it asks about Martin
and turns in hate this and hate that ... lol

not how BRUNO is doing???
I am also kind of surprised people hating on his girlfriend?

I do think BRUNO gets paid .. he is not going to do this for free?
I do not think stations are tying to DUMP BRUNO
I do not think Don Martain is having second thought about BRUNO
I do not think Ben Maller is trying to get BRUNO'S job or girlfriend

SInce the first of the year, CC has placed FSR on many more of their stations. Granted, they may be under-performing and in some cases signal challenged AM stations, but it's PPM friendly content that's a heck of a lot better than colon-blow show alternatives. As a manager at an FSR affiliate, I wasn't exactly jazzed with all the Lakers references when it re-made itself last January. Perhaps a little too many LA references remain, but they are more concious of it. But I could also argue that this years big sports stories have been Lakers (Kobe/Championship) and Dodgers (Manny). That's not a bad thing.

As for the "CC stations are dropping FSR for ESPN" assertion, I'd like to see some facts. One or two small markets, or an FSR afiliate taking Mike and Mike is not a big deal. One reason there won't be wholesale CC defections to ESPN: see first paragraph. Another reason: CC manager would have a lot of explaining to do - dropping a CC product for someone else's? I don't think so. Yet another reason: other than Mike and Mike, ESPN radio blows. The only thing it has going for it, and I admit, it's a VERY BIG THING, is the ESPN brand. Still, FSR ain't going away.

Finally - Petros and Money. An aquired taste. And the daypart most likely to be pre-emptedby other affiliates...not because of their show, but because much of the Central and and East coast time zones (where I think you'll find the majority of FSR affiliates) are running play by play. For the west coast, it's the daypart that most likely has a local show. Therefore, it makes sense for that show to be the "most local" of all at KLAC.

Class dismissed.

The KLAC / FSR merger was a survival move FOR Don Martin.  Either do this or go out with everyone else.  Too bad in that when it was done, no one was left happy.  L.A. Locals hated the 'national vibe' (and Chris Meyers - worst ever), and other markets can't possible dig all the lakers & usc talk.  Having lived in the mid-west, I can't possibly imagine PMS lasting more than 5 minutes on the dial.  I actually enjoy them in small segments, but petros' "screaming" and money & his 'pop culture know-it-all' can't possibly fly.

The crystal ball sees 570 getting busted up december 15th...

What's ironic is that Money is from the mid-west originally, but I guess he has gone HOLLYWOOD.
