The Cockroach's Digital Conversion - June 12, 2010

« on: September 09, 2009, 12:46:09 PM »

A portion of an email I received moments ago...

"Hello members of the HD Radio™ University,

Thank you so much for your interest in learning more about HD Radio Technology. We’re writing to let you know that we recently decided to consolidate two websites designed to serve your HD Radio technology information needs: HDRadioUniversity.com and HDRadioAlliance.com.

We are excited to tell you that all of the valuable information previously found on HDRadioUniversity.com now lives on HDRadioAlliance.com in an easy to access format. HDRadioAlliance.com is for ALL HD Radio broadcasters! You will find a section for Programmers called the “Programmer’s Toolkit” with examples of HD2/HD3 Multicast channels, third party content providers to help you program your extra channels, examples of how to talk about HD Radio technology on the air and your website, and more..."

I wonder if anyone is able to get a portion of their tuition back after this news...

So with the closing of this "HD Radio University" concept, would it be fair to say that people are no longer interested in learning about HD Radio?

Great idea - you get to make the same noise as IBOC; however you actually get to do something worthwhile with it!!  Wink
