Really?  WOW!
This has been their website ever since the station launched: http://www.doublet1043.com/

For them to take this long is inexcusable -- a sports station (or really, any station) during this time and age must have a website if it wants to succeed.

Step it up Ramar!

If the Stars 97.3 website is any indication on how Ramar does websites, even if they get one up, it won't be updated.

How long have Lew Dee & Diana been off the air?

It is really sad that 104.3 can't get their act together. Did anyone really expect anything different?
I saw tonight where The Williams and Hyatt Show on 1340 The Fan put up a new website.

I guess they aren't going anywhere are they!

I've heard one of the Ramar guys say all along that Hyatt would never give that gig up. It's what he's known for.

Regarding the Starz Site.... It's not even a RAMAR site... it's a FREE site created or sponsored by the LUBBOCK FUN CLUB. Yes.... THE LUBBOCK FUN CLUB. I'm sorry, but this is truly unbelievable. The stations website is through the LUBBOCK FUN CLUB? The site for LFC looks like something from 1995. Well, It obviously hasn't been much of an issue to need a site to this point for the RAMAR stations... so why change this now. It took me less than 2 hours to design that mock up, which you could publish right now, for 104.3... why isn't RAMAR doing at least that? Like I have said before, at least put up a dummy page with the basic info. Get as far away from the Lubbock Fun Club as possible!

Lubbock fun club?  Isn't that what 34 was calling their "kid's club" before they went balls-to-the-wall with local news?

About all I remember was that it was hosted by that cute gal Robin.  Whatever happened to her?

I've heard one of the Ramar guys say all along that Hyatt would never give that gig up. It's what he's known for.

It's also what he gets paid to do and there are far worse ways to earn a living!

My old brain cannot connect all the dots- someone needs to relate to me the story behind his departure from KKAM for Ramar, then heading back again.

I board-oped his last show on KFYO before he went to KKAM.  LOTS of angry calls came in the following day when he and Williams were no longer on the mighty 790.

I'd also like to know the real story behind why KFYO lost the TTU athletic contract back in the early 90s (or whenever it was) after having a near monopoly on it for decades.  Couldn't find anyone around while I worked there that could tell me.  I guess they all left/retired/or got fired before my tenure there.

Hearing Jack Dale call the play-by-play on KFYO was one of the happy memories I have of the 70s.  Even the few times I was lucky enough to attend the game, I'd take a small battery-powered radio with an earpiece and listen to Jack.  I could never understand what the guy was saying over the stadium PA system, but Jack's explanation of a foul or penalty, or the reason for a timeout was always spot on.

Boy how I miss those days sometimes...
