I heard that Elvis from The Dog House might be doing mornings at THE NEW 92-7 REV FM...And he is bringing Big Joe with him...That would be cool...

It'll be amusing to have Elvis and JV opposite each other...

From the news page ("Making Moves: Thursday Afternoon 10/1/09) at www.radio-info.com:

"KFRH (104.3) Las Vegas hires Elvis for mornings, starting Oct. 5. Elvis was previously heard on New York Rocker WXRK before it flipped to top 40 as “Now 92.3.” He’ll continue to work with Goom Radio as well."

Most likely this will be simulcast on 92.7 KREV being as KFRH Las Vegas is their sister station & original inspiration for the format flip of KNGY from Dance music to CHR.

Note/correction: The JV & Elvis Show aired on WXRK New York from 2005-2007 during the "Free FM" hot talk format period. WXRK flipped formats from talk to rock ("K-Rock") in May 2007, then from rock to Top 40/CHR ("92.3 Now") in March 2009.

But why hasn't JV or Elvis picked up Henry Ochs?

WASSUP YA ALL!!!! IT'S THE WORLD'S MOST LOVEABLE AUTISTIC HAMMERIN' HANK. I MADE CONSTANT APPEARANCES ON ONE OF THE BAY AREA'S HIGHEST RATED MORNING SHOWS, "THE WILD 94.9 DOGHOUSE" FROM AUGUST 1996 UNTIL APRIL 2005 WHEN THE SHOW WAS CANCELLED. I HOPE TO SECURE AN ON-AIR RADIO GIG SOMETIME SOON.

He's been waiting over 4 years now. It is time for one of them to steo up and make him part of their package!!

What would be the compelling reason to bring him back on the air outside of nostalgia? Loyalty only goes so far in the industry and of all the time that JV's been back, it seems as though they are trying to distance the show as far away from the old dog house as much as possible.

They don't want that type of radio at Wild...It is a joke...I hear he is unhappy and looking to get out....The crazy type od Doghouse radio can still be done with some tweaking...
