LPB Console for sale (almost give-a-way)

I have an LPB, Signature III, 8 Channel, Rotary Fader Console sitting in the floor of my AM station, waiting for a home. It works just fine, and perfect for the serious Part 15 Broadcaster. It's not doing me any good sitting in the floor, and I paid $700.00 for it. I willing to take a big loss on it. The shipping is no big deal. This console came from a full power "Class A" FM station in Alabama, and when I bought it, my engineer installed it and it worked fine when we took it out of service and put in the console I have on the air that I like better. There is no use putting this thing on ebay because the economy is so bad, nobody is buying nothing much there. Keep in mind buyer pays shipping.
My station is fully satellite automated (except on Sundays) and this LPB Board is a bit much more than I need.

Email me in private and I'll send you a picture of it. I hate to sell it at a cheap price, but where it sits, my transmitter is going to move into that room. Like I said, if you are a serious Part 15 broadcaster, you'll love this professional board.

Ignor my previous post about a trade for a rangemaster transmitter. I'll buy a new one from the guy that builds them.

      The LPB Board is gone. LPFM station WRFN-LP has it. Matt, their engineer came to get it, and it will be put to good use. To all the rest of you, don't give up on your dream, keep broadcasting! Use the best that your money will allow you to buy. It's awful we have a screwed up government, not allowing even 1 watt for part 15 AM!  We have a bunch of "know it all engineers" that claims that will cause interference. I've done my own studies and 1 watt on AM won't hurt anyone, as long as we don't let it get out of hand like the C.B. Radio people did with the 11 meter band.

      I wish all of you the best of luck, keep looking on e-bay, radio-classifieds.com and upgrade your gear as the commerical stations let it go. One day, I hope for LPAM to come around. You're all pros, keep up the good work!

I Wish it were that easy.. Been Wanting a Console for at least 5 years, But I keep Dreaming.. I think thats all it is, But who knows.. When Im 80 One will finally come my way.. ! Until then..... WE WAIT......!

I've followed WMRO on the Nashville board for over a year. I commend you for your work. Anyone who can find a way to pay their station off and get that overhead down is doing something right.

And fellow Part 15'ers,

Part 15 operators are a bit of a different breed. Some are probably like me - forced to go to the beach way too early and frustrated over the difficulty of acquiring what most folks would deem a "real" radio station. For others
it's more of just a hobby and something to test and experiment with.

I field a LOT of radio questions all the time just because I like to try and help folks.

I recently obtained a piece of equipment from a fellow Part 15'er - someone I "met" on this very board -  at a very reasonable price. I believe this will improve our station's sound a good deal and may perhaps improve the coverage area, legally.

Part 15 radio sometimes feels like an island, and most people are clueless about what it is. Let's do our best to help each other out when possible.

This was the exact reason I started HobbyBroadcaster.net (and later both CampusBroadcaster.net and BusinessBroadcaster.net, which have been folded into the main Hobbroadcaster.net site). Being a broadcast engineer I knew exactly what needed to be accomplished to put a Part 15 station on the high school campus I was working on, but the online resources were either poorly written or were just veiled attempts to hide sites that promoted illegal or "pirate" radio. My sites do not promote or endorse unlicensed operation outside of Part 15 limits.

You are correct that Part 15 folks are a somewhat different breed. I have met both folks who are involved in Part 15 as a casual hobby and those who have fully dressed broadcast studios. I've seen plenty of campus stations outfitted better than the commercial stations and I've even seen hobbyists who have studios that rival their own local broadcast outlet.
