Sunny 104.5 lasted 4 years. Now 97.5 lasted less than 1 if you take out the Christmas music. That proved that an older approach to soft rock was better than the younger approach.

Um, no. 

It "proved" Greater Media made a different decision based on different realities and different circumstances at a different time than did Clear Channel.
