Yeah it's weird now hearing "Los Angeles" on the Sophie's legal ID down here in San Diego.

No more House of Sophie on KSCF-HD2.  Back to simulcasting KROQ (although there's a delay... kind of funny since you can usually get KROQ on 106.7 and now on 103.7-2).

Lots of silence in between promos, giveaways, and spots.  I think Sophie will need to work on that to keep people tuned in for an extended perios of time.

So obviously they have a deal with their company to swap stations but why KROQ? Albeit, it's a great station, but SD has so many rock/alternative stations already.  Why not Amp or something that SD has fewer stations of?

With Blazin gone, it seems Amp would've been a better simulcast than a 4th rock/alternative station.

Um, what are you talking about? What swap with KROQ? Can you please tell me what you are making refernce to? Do you have a link? Is there a mention of it here on the boards? Thanks.

Garrett - Sophie @ 103.7 is simulcasting KROQ on their HD 2 station. Not sure if it's on their website but just tune into 103.7-2 if you have an HD radio.
