God forbid they reschedule to Sunday during the DAYTIME to avoid the coldest of the cold temps.  TV and the almighty dollar have the last word.

.....Or Heaven Forbid that they would have built a domed stadium or one with a retractable roof like they have in Phoenix or Seattle. That would have made too much sense.  Roll Eyes

So now that the Dodgers have won, there's a gap in tomorrow's schedule.  Will they move the Phillies game into the afternoon?

Yes, but they are replacing Minneapolis's domed stadium with an open-air stadium.  And it's Minneapolis, for pete's sake.  How many early April home games (and, right now, October games) might get postponed/rescheduled there due to weather?  Brrrrr.

Inside The MLB came on TBS after The Dodger's Game. They announced for tomorrow on TBS:

Game 1: Redsox-Angels
Game 2: Yankees-Twins
Game 3: Phillies-Rockies

I don't think they move Sunday's game between COL and PHI but we'll have to see what time they'll give the Mon game.
For Sunday, all times Eastern:
noon-- LAA at Boston
(4 pm would have been LAD at St Louis but that series has concluded)
7 pm (I believe) NYY at Min.
10 pm (8 MT) PHI at Col.

Monday I know LAA at Boston is 8:30, poss. 7:30 but if LA wins tomorrow that series is over. Also if
NYY wins tomorrow that series concludes...we'll see when the Col. game is set to start...

Note: just checked yahoo sports
For Monday Phi-Col-- Time TBA
NY-Min (if series still going) 5:07 ET
Bos-LAA (if series still going) 8:37 ET

I checked the weather.  Although it won't be snowing tomorrow, it'll still be in the 30s when they start this game.  Expected to go down to 29 tomorrow night.  It would have been smarter to start this game (the one in the coldest location) in the afternoon.

It was just a question of time before Mother Nature would affect a game that is best played and viewed in summer.  IIf the Rockies move on (and I am rooting for the Phils) there could be more delays.
Looks like the Colo taxpayers will be footing the bill for a domed stadium whether they want one or not...
