I forgot all about Ron Huntsman. Is he still in this business after all these years?

Very alive and doing very well on music row.  Probably because he got out of radio and only has to deal with artists and not 'know it all managers and corporate geniuses ' and others who now control radiio.

Scott....you don't like sports..and you battle about oldies.  You know why my ole buddy George Plaz took the place of your Andy Griffin favs?Huh  People like him, will watch or listen and the sales folks can sale him.  As another poster says...it's all about the bottom line $$$$$$
I now return you to your regularly scheduled programming

That's o.k. Buddy, but why doesn't channel 30 put George on at 11 PM and not interrupt my Andy Griffith Show! I realize George has his fans, but so does Andy!  I just got a copy of Andy's CD of Gospel Songs!  I love it!  Leslie wanted to buy me all 8 seasons of the Andy Griffith Show for Christmas. I hope I get it!  I like ole Barney Fife too!  Nothing personal on my end about George, I don't even know him and never met him, but I only get 30 minutes of the Andy Griffith Show on Sunday Nights, but TV Land makes up for it on Monday Nights!

Oh well, one cannot have everything in life.

I remember when WKDF was a rock station for several years

Boy that was a long time ago.

I remember when WKDF was WKDA FM.  THAT was a long time ago.

And Scott, don't take it personally, but I have to say it...David Carusso has to be the worst actor in the world.  You should see Romer do him.  Has it down to the starting a statment, pause, take off (or put on sunglasses) and finish the statement.

For impression accuracy always use both hands when donning or doffig the shades

thanks...and for total accuracy, you have to make a quick exit (from the viewer's perspective) to the left or right
