On Magic 98.9's 80's Lunch Hour today, Lee Alexander told the listeners they needed to get their 80's song requests in this week because Christmas music was coming.  I wonder if that means they will start it this weekend?

I bet they will or before.  I just now heard today on 102.5 that it's starting there this week, so I bet Magic will be all-Christmas by Friday.

OK, I was confused. I keep reading about 98.9 and 102.5 and had to remind myself that this is Greenville, not Charleston which has Y102.5 and 98.9 Chick FM. Neither one of them have gone Christmas... yet. You would think one would pop soon!

Sorry about that! Cheesy

Check the Magic 98.9 website out.....: http://www.magic989online.com
looks like its very soon...

MY 102.5 says it's coming by the end of the week.  As soon as one makes the pop, they will both be at it in several hours I bet.

WMYI is running Clear Channel's national Christmas feed, save for a few filler songs I guess.
WSPA's mix is very good, it is a little different.  They played a few Christmas songs I haven't heard much, lots of oldies.  It's not quite as repetitive.

Still....this is too soon.  I listen to 98.9 and 102.5 the most, I guess I'll have to find an alternative until Thanksgiving.  Undecided Wonder when WLFJ will go all-Christmas?

WXLY (Y102.5-Charleston) has gone all Christmas today. Don't know if they are using the national feed... but being that CC Charleston isn't very original, it probably is.
