Well after shuffling the chairs at WRWD, looks like Walker, who moved to afternoon drive with "the big show- morning show in the afternoon?Huh" is history. No mention of his name and looks like Paty Quyn is doing afternoon drive. Or anyone else. Moving all of the so called talent around. New morning show is horrendous. Maybe they can't find anyone else to work the shifts. One slip in the spring book and many changes made, none of them for the good IMHO. Anyone know whats going on other than cheap channel is ready for the gas pipe. Paty working many hours over there; hope she's getting paid for the trouble.

Anyone???

And I guess CJ is doing a great job doing his own morning show on WRWD after leaving Tommy Lee Walker in his chair. I remember CJ when he was on the original WBPM at 94.3 when it was "B94" as a Top 40/CHR competitor to "K104" back in the 90's in afternoon drive and then he was also in mornings on "Rhythm 94.3" as a jammin' oldies station from 1999 until 2001.

He was also on WPKF's "Kiss-FM" in afternoons from 2001 until 2005 and then he was also in mornings from 2005 until 2009 as the host of "CJ's Playhouse". I don't listen to "Kiss-FM", because it sounds more hip-hop and R&B and sound rhythmic dance to it, it sounded a lot like the Hudson Valley version of "92.3 Now".

I'm so glad to hear CJ McIntyre on WRWD after he left the "Playhouse" on "Kiss-FM" two week ago. I have the aircheck of the entire show from last week.

I don't listen to Eric Hopkins on "The Wolf" in mornings, because I didn't like it at all. Thankfully CJ is a great host of WRWD's morning show. After listening to CJ, I should turn to "The Wolf" to hear Brandy Hunter in middays.

The 2 of you should get together so you can share your ramblings in person.

I, too, am missing Tommy Lee on WRWD. The morning show is boring and the on air voice is grating. I looked forward to Paty and Tommy every day. I don't know if the "Wolf" can cut it. Maybe satellite radio or just cds in the car. Hope Tommy has big plans for himself and I wish him success.

YES, I think that walkers show was very good. Found out the hard way in the radio business that one day the whole audience loves you and the next day you are out of work. They just had a big celebration for walker's 10th yr on the air, within weeks no mention of him. Think he had some personal issues that was causing him to miss work, and i'm sure cheap channel probably didn't like it if they were paying him well. The whole cheap channel cluster is hangin on a thread like every other station these days, and it shows. paty's show is the only show that has any professionalism; the rest are just awful. Dee's voice sounds like a valley girl and is like someone scratching their nails down a blackboard. Some one should tell her that the word " something" is not pronounced "suh-in"..... Whitney Allen at night is as bad; I miss Lia....

I spoke with Paty on the phone. Tommy Lee Walker is still with WRWD. His health is not so good. They gave hime some time off to get well. He is also on the web site.

I have not see Tommy's name listed on the website since Monday. Miss him in the afternoon.  Just pray for him to recover.

I'm sure when they remove you from the website, that's not a good sign.  I only stumbled on the show about 7-8 months ago, but with a desk job, Tommy made the afternoons a lot more enjoyable.  If anyone hears any additional info, please pass it along.  I'd love to hear him back on the radio...at WRWD or elsewhere.
