They PAY me to mess with radio gear?!

« on: October 15, 2009, 07:43:53 PM »

The "Fernando and Greg" fan page on Facebook says they'll be on the air soon.   Very coy about where exactly.   Maybe Pirate Cat, maybe FCC-Free Radio.  Had to promise not to say it's KKIQ....   oops

They are still being coy about where they hope to return to commercial radio, but you can hear them talk about the last days of Energy at www.stitcher.com (search for Fernando & Greg).  Then they dish on Jason for the rest of the podcast.  Just like old times.

more info from the news page @ www.radio-info.com:

San Francisco's Fernando and Greg are back "App" work

The former morning duo heard on San Francisco’s dance KNGY “Energy 92.7” were laid off when the station flipped format last month. Now, they are striking a deal with mobile phone app provider Stitcher to make their new show available, on-demand. The team is putting together a podcast that will provide new programs 3 -5 times a week. The deal also makes the show available to an audience outside their Bay-area fan base (which was growing in influence before the station changed). The Stitcher app works on iPhone, Palm Pre and BlackBerry devices, and online at www.Stitcher.com.
