It was mentioned in Tom Taylor's newsletter this morning that Radio Disney is selling about 6 of its radio stations. While I seriously doubt WDZK AM 1550 is on that list. I was just think what would happen if Radio Disney did sell WDZK. I see 2 potential buyers for this station.

1. Gois Broadcasting. Gois can buy WDZK move 1480's programming to it and take 1480 dark.

2. DMG. DMG can buy WDZK and as is their programming philosophy lease it out to Spanish language broadcasters.

What do you think of my ideas?

This is America. Why do we need more Spanish stations?

I came up with a 3rd option, but I didn't want to post it because every time I mention the station I get ridiculed.

Option #3. DMG buys WDZK 1550 moves the Radio Cantico Nuevo Spanish Christian format from 990 to 1550 and in turn DMG finds someone to run 990 as a Community Radio Station  super-serving the Central Connecticut area.

If this was a teabagging town hall meeting forum, someone would get up to the podium and say, "Your in America!  When in America, speak American!"

So why did you post it?  Then again, somebody has to reset the deck chairs on that Titanic.  Might as well be you.

This response is going to be slightly off-topic, but is related to the previous reply, my apologies in advance...

Do these teabaggers even know what "teabagging" is? Someone please send them to urban dictionary already?
