From Reuters:

Internet Radio Stations Are Positioning Themselves to Take Advantage of the Shift in Dollars

Quote
The message coming from the radio industry is clear: Terrestrial radio is in trouble and things will get worse before they get better. Many of the country's largest national broadcasters are on the verge of bankruptcy...

Terrestrial radio is dying. Internet radio is not the future...it is the present.

For any webcaster that wants to start inernet radio, or any former broadcasters like myself that took a break from it, now is the time to get back in the game or start a station right now.  I stopped being a fan of terrestrial radio and only listen to a few FM stations and now I just cancelled Sirius.  If you got a large collection of music and a dream of broadcasting, this is the way to go.
