I remenber Glenn's days on KC101,I like his show.I had a friend that airchecked his show every morning for most of his tenure at KC101.he gave me copies of his show that i have somewhere boxed up.some day i have to get hold of him to see if my buddy still have these aircheck tapes, now they are worth gold to a Glenn Beck fan.

I did not realize Glenn was in charge at Clear Channel New Haven during his tenure at KC 101.3

Glenn was OM for a little while... when the station went pseudo-alternative in the mid-90's.  He hired a nightmare consultant named Jim Sumpter and the station's core artists became the likes of Beck, Gin Blossoms, Sheryl Crow, Nirvana, etc.  Great music... but not for a heritage CHR like KC 101.

Did Jim Sumpter consult New York's Z-100 too around that time?

I assume you're asking this because of Z100's alternative lean during this time as well?
