Hi...Not to be picky, but was curious if there's a way to delete unwanted posts when I click on "show new replies to your posts". I could hit "mark all as unread but the annoying "fantastic word game", "choice game", "impossible trivia", etc return instantaneously.

Also what happened to the smileys?

Unfortunately we're hamstrung by the limitations of this version of SMF-based software.  Some of the changes you suggest would require switching to new board software that leaves serious doubts as to whether it can accommodate a site of our size.  We literally have an archive of 150,000 topics containing 1.3 Million posts.  Add to that all the underlying PMs and news databases and you get an idea of the immensity of the site.  We've been fortunate in that the functions you list aren't crucial to site operations.  I've covered the issue of emoticons several times on this board.  That function will be addressed when we can get to it.  Right now it's more important that the search ability be repaired to full operations.  I'm not aware of any function that lets users delete unwanted posts on that function.  If there's enough demand for such an ability, we can evaluate its inclusion if future updates.  Right now, we're focusing on improving the speed and stability of what we currently have before we consider adding anything else.

I know there are boards with a "stop following this topic" option, and like the other poster, there are topics I enjoyed at the time, but when the topic continues to post every song that was ever recorded since the beginning of time, I've kind of gotten tired of it. I've actually avoided posting on a couple because I know that they'll still be active years from now.
