Hey! Wheres Dick Nellis? WHUC Early 70s: WHUC Produced GREAT AIR TALENT in those days. A professional station
not too far from the neighboring Albany Metro. As Program Director (Buddy Clayton) in the Late 60s to Mid 70s,WHUC
saw much talent which profited the station under the Leadership of Irv Rose Then Gen Mgr.of WROW Fame(Any Update on Irv)
Ed Brooks was Sales Manager, Lance Wheeler news Dir. (DJS) Dean Stewart, Earl Thomas, Dave Clapper,Ed Kostek Jeff Rugg, Joe Ryan.to name a few. and our famous engineer George (Chappy) Samsel.

These are the Gold Years The Great Good Times, when the Business was Real Fun:and Of Course Hard Work to those who wanted to further their Broadcast career.

I Had the Honor of Signing on WHUC-FM January 19th 1969 WOW 40 Years ago: and Now Both The AM & FM are the clear channel robots what a shame.

Remember: Those were the Good Old Days! and  Roll Eyes

Stay intouch
