These are new to me though I apologize if they have been noted on this board previously.

KMRY-AM Cedar Rapids has returned to streaming after several years, the station has some local blocks and runs ABC's "Timeless Favorites" the rest of the time.

WLHC Sanford, NC runs a stereo stream of Timeless Favorites in most dayparts

Why so many Timeless stations? I thought most of us agreed they weren't any good.

Good or not, they do seem to have a fair number of affiliates. I guess these stations (many of which formerly had a more conventional standards format) feel that this format better reaches the demographic they are trying to reach these days.

Scholarm1111, your directory is fantastic.  I love sampling all the stations and have found several new favorites along the way.  Here's another one I didn't see on your list: WHLC 104.5 in Highlands, NC.  At first glance, I thought you did have it (WLHC in Sanford NC), but this a different station.  It's a nice blend of beautiful music instrumentals, true standards, and soft contemporary pop hits.

KMRY used to carry Jim Doyne's Sunday afternoon Musical Memories show.  Now he's on WMT (600 AM in Cedar Rapids, IA) from 2 to 7 Central Time.  I think it's a news/talk station during the week, but on Sundays Jim plays stuff from the '40s through the '60s.

A little word of warning if you listen to WINR.  When I tuned in, I heard a few rock 'n roll oldies mixed in with the Dial Global format - "Quarter To Three" by Gary U.S. Bonds, "Finger Poppin' Time" by Hank Ballard, and one which really through me for a loop, "In The Midnight Hour" by Wilson Pickett.  At first I thought, "My God, what is Dial Global doing?"  But it sounded just a little too jarring and disruptive, so I quickly found another Dial Global station and heard a completely different song which sounded more like normal Dial Global fare.

But if you have fast enough Internet (which I don't) and sound on your computer (which I choose not to because of the many annoyances that causes) and go to unfamiliar sites (which I don't at home to keep my computer safe), streaming means you can choose anything. Why would anyone with choices CHOOSE Timeless? It's terrible.

And this would be a great choice.

Real standards, mixed with the occasional Carpenters or Neil Diamond, which for me is fine.

Regarding Dial Global, they do occasionally make some curious choices. I can't understand why "Spooky" by Classics IV or "Lowdown" by Boz Scaggs still fit.

This morning they played "Sentimental Journey" and last week they played "Moonlight Serenade" by Glenn Miller. They've played "String of Pearls" by Glenn Miller. Okay, I sort of cheated, since there's only the one big band era song each weekday on Jeff Rollins's show, but that's something. And they really have moved in a traditional direction, something that can't be said for Timeless.

One more thing, I think WGL Fort Wayne and KHUI Honolulu probably have the best Dial Global streams, "on the bird" pretty much most of the time and nice stereo streams.

I agree.  What makes it nice is you can listen on Saturday and Sunday mornings when other stations are running infomercials or religious programming.
