I'm Not Gonna Be In The Area At The Time Of The Flip And I Would Really Like If Someone Can Record It For Me. It Happens On Wednesday November 5th Around 5PM.

I'm not sure what you are waiting to hear...Fronk says goodbye on 101.5 It gets quiet. And Says hello on 104.9?

Wouldn't that be about it...?

I just like to collect things. I did that with the WKLB flip to as well as the
Mix 98.5 Flip. Nothing big since WBCN left the airwaves hours before. I just like to have them. And i'd think they would at least do something since as far as I know 101.5 always had a classic rock format.

BIG 101.5 Classic Rock for a bit more, then Teh Hawk (Nassau brand)

WMRQ from 1988 to 1990 according to the FCC.
The current WMRQ in Waterbury became WMRQ in 1995 until 2003 when it changed to WPHH for 4 years.

100000watts.com is reporting WNNH to flip to "some kind of CHR". Do they really want to get into a 3-way battle with WJYY and WFTN?

Saw that.  This can't be Mr. Shapiro.  If Nassau wants to kill the station without actually turning it off, put a bad format up against one of your strongest would do it.  That would force your existing advertising base to move to some other (hopefully one you own) station.  Mr. Shapiro can't do anything without an LMA at the least.  He hasn't even filed with the commission yet!  Why are they flipping now?  What might this be signalling?  Is it Shapiro?  Has he agreed to an LMA?
