Oh please, this post is in bad taste.
Elvis is no stranger to SF radio. Didnt he used to work at Wild 94.9? And his show originates from 104.3 Now FM in Las Vegas. So I guess that means KYLD, KFRH, and KREV are all guilty of hating gays...
All Elvis asked was if a man doesnt watch football maybe he's gay. The other day Stephen Colbert on Comedy Central joked that a guy might be gay if he listens to Lady Gaga (whose always had a huge gay fanbase).
BTW, I havent been following football this year, I enjoy Lady Gaga, I'm a guy, and I'm not gay.

All this is really about is people mourning the loss of Energy 92.7. Well, maybe it's time to focus your efforts on making a station like Rhythmic AC KISQ 98.1 more Dance friendly. Or maybe launch a new Dance station on 87.7 FM, like what they were trying to do in NYC.

Elvis said something tasteless...there's a news flash.  Next time it will be the elderly, African Americans, Asians (oh, right - that's what got him kicked off the air in New York), or whatever.

As for the format; isn't MOViN HD2 playing dance music? HD radios are inexpensive, and dance is a perfect fringe format for HD2.  Maybe dance music fans can be the first fan group to provide measurable ratings to an HD2 steam, and even make it commercially viable a couple of years down the road.

...And how is this going to bring back the dance format? Give it a break.

Please just direct your hatred towards people that enjoy having Top 40 music, that is how I pass my time...

I have a hard time believing a website in San Francisco is called the sfist.  There, I said it.

SFist is put together by the same people who put together the famous Gothamist.  It's for real, or as real as websites go.

I'm not convinced that either Ed Stolz or "Elvis" are necessarily anti-gay.  For one thing, a homophobe can't have much of a career in broadcasting given that so many gay men and some lesbians are involved in every facet of broadcasting, especially radio.  Ratings are ratings and I've heard worse in the name of ratings.
