Any body know why WIBR went dark. I was in Baton Rouge in September and noticed 1300 was off the air. Yesterday while in Thibodaux (getting some beef jerkey at Bourgieous meat market) and it was still off the air. While I think about it what is the latest on 910 in B R.

Gustav really hit the transmitter site hard, and they've never fixed the damage I believe.

Last I heard they were still repairing the damage from the Hurricane that someone mentioned about (they went on the air temporarily for 6 days in August to keep the license) but are back off the air again

910 is still on the Silent list with license but was granted a new Construction permit back in April for Zachary.
