No, Joe, you don't want to work there.  Just sit back and enjoy being a loyal listener instead.

I agree.  You seem like a nice guy, don't put yourself through that.

I was going to type something similar to the above posts earlier today but I thought it might be considered in bad taste, but since we have opened the door...

Joe you know I like you, we are FB friends, and have mutual friends on Enterprise Drive.

I'd rather have a sister in a Whore House than a friend at WXRV

They are notoriously cheap, you'd make more as a WalMart greeter, they have trouble retaining people for any amount of time.

You have forgotten more about music and the radio business than most of the people at that place have ever learned. IMHO it would not be a good fit for you. You would be so stressed out after 3 months there it would make your present situation seem like a vacation at Club Med.

I wonder how Bob Stuart lasted all these years?

Works for cheap and keeps his head down.

What's "cheap" these days?

What does The River pay for full-time talent?

Wow!  That's a strong inducement to stay as far away as possible.  I read on one of the boards WXRV is now consulted by Chris Mays.  Will that make it a better place to work, or not make any difference?

when Joanne Doody got blown out her replacement didn't last all that long either IIRC, Buzz Knight was out in short order too.
