Heard a commercial last night that WTIC 1080 will be broadcasting 2 high school football games on delay tape on Thanksgiving day. They're asking listeners to go onto their website and vote. The two with the most votes will be the ones they air.

wow it's nice to see radio is giving more time for local  activities.I hope others follow.I know 50,000 watts is a little too much,but what ever brings in the listeners also the bread.

Put some delay tape on the announcer's mouth so he has to be on a delay of what he plans to say. Cheesy

Problem with tape-delay is that everyone will already know the outcome of the games before they are aired, but it is likely that radio ratings will be rather low on Thanksgiving Day, so whatever floats your boat!

Looks like the board op at that station may have a relatively easy shift that day!  Cool Always a good thing on a holiday!  Cool
