I don't know for sure that he reads these boards..messages,discussions etc. Several of his employees do.

Could you ,sir, jump on here once and fill in some of the blanks for the Speculators I(myself included). Naturally there will be some things you won't be able to talk about, but is there a Nassau deal...really? Who is Andrew Sumereau and what's more should we care?

Inquiring minds need to know.

I believe he does read these boards occasionally, and has invited folks with questions to contact him via email at wjdsfm@aol.com.  (If my memory serves me correctly.)

Jeff Shapiro isn't obligated to discuss anything on this board, or in any form.

I imagine when the time is "right" he will make everybody aware of what's up with his radio stations.

Certainly getting a lot of talk gere. It would fun to hear his spin on it all.

Let's Speculate....
If the deal is in trouble, Why?  Finally look at the cost of the Hookset facility?  Buyer's remorse? Trouble financing?  Nassau dragging their feet on the transfer or LMA?  Red Tape legal crap with 102.3 that can't be easily fixed?  What else could put this in trouble?

If it's not in trouble... Why has it not been filed at the commission?  Why no LMA?

I have no idea what's going on.  No one in the know is talking which is surprising.  I suspect the deal is in place and there may be some delay in how they deal with Goldman Sachs.  I do think there is some problems with 102.3.  The whole LMA, disolving the LMA, shutting it off, selling to Summerau, etc. has some legal issues for sure.

I cannot believe WWHQ is still playing that same message. Do something with the station for god sakes.

It's time to shut it off or transfer it.  Anything but the looped message.  they are indeed trying to kill it and make it that much more difficult to create something.  Still nothing at the commission.  Nothing on 102.3 announced.  And the Simulcast of WJYY on 99.1 is that much more troubling.  It's just not right!
