That kinda sucks,, Hot was a good hip hop station, and so was the old Mega 93.3 with dance music, and also Power 93 when it was chr... I hate to see a good signal like this flip to a non music format.

Can't believe that Emmis just gave up on the Rhythmic format with Hot 93.3 and let CC have the format with 105.9 The Beat or they'll ever keep the format or if they'll ever sell it and who ever takes over that it will stay Rhythmic. I'm glad I tape some stuff off the station a few years ago with went through ATX. At least I'll have something to remember the station by.

I hate to see any heritage music station go all talk, especially Rhythmic-Dance- or CHR,, and even Oldies and Rock.. Keep the talk on the AMs....I like Coast to Coast,,Rush,, and Glen Beck, but they belong on the AM side.

Hot wasn't the same as it was when it first stunted with a loop of Nelly's, "It's Getting Hot in Herre". Eric Edwards was no longer voicing the station, and mixes had gotten pathetic. Worst of all, they had done away with the "Tejas Caliente Mix Weekends".

Yeah thats true,,,, I liked when it was toward the end of Mega 93.3 when they played Dance and rap without the pop in between stuff.   I hate to see any good station flip especially Rhythmic or dance.   It sucks to lose a CHR too, but the U.S has so many of them,,, alot of area's are deprived of a true Urban Hip Hop station, they may have an Adult leaned Uraban, or a conservative rhythmic leaned CHR like Hot 98.1 in Greenville S.C,,, but they are missing the good cutting edge stuff, and the mixshows and such.
